My best latest photo, just because. Making Aloe Vera Juice

So I did this. I made fresh Aloe Vera juice from freshly harvested leaves from my own garden. It's not difficult. I learnt how to from a YouTube video years ago. And aside from being a little slimy, it's quite drinkable.
There's a bit of a story as to why I was making Aloe Vera juice out in my backyard. You see, I've just started hosting a community plant swap-meet in my backyard. Yes, that's a thing. I've got a local social media group for it on Nextdoor, and people bring plants that they want to swap. Just recently I hosted the second one. I'd told the group that I'd demonstrate how to make this, so I had everything ready to go outside in the sunshine. But only one lady came along this time, and she was happy to just chat for a bit. So after she left, I decided to still go ahead and do the demo even just for the camera. I captured the process in photos and shared it in the Nextdoor group. And, now I'm sharing it here.
I did some research again on the benefits of drinking Aloe Vera, or just eating a fresh piece like the one I'm holding in the photo. It really is quite astounding. The most interesting benefit to me is the antioxidant properties that help fight oxidative stress, because, did you know that that's the main issue we have from cell phone use and wifi and similar Electromagnetic Energy (EME) in our environment? And some people are more vulnerable to it, such as those with the MTHFR gene mutation, which I've got one copy of. That's a story for another day and another blog post, but yeh, there you go.
